MAMMAMIA
extra virgin olive oil comes from the soil and from the trees which
take their rest through the Winter, which create the first olives in
Spring, which mature through the Summer and are ready for harvest in
the Autumn.
Thanks
to the men and women who look after them they tell a story of flavour
and fragrance.A
beautiful story.
Under the trees you can find all sorts of edible wild plants: borage (Borago officinalis), dandelion (Taraxacum officinalis), chicory (Cycorium intibus), poppy (Papaver rhoeas), conrnflower (Centaurea cyanus), oats (Avena sativa), clover (Trifolium), nettle (Urtica dioca), wild carrot (Dacus carota), mallow (Malva sylvestris), daisy (Bellis perennis).
Around olive trees you can pick: artichokes (Cynara scolymus), asparagus (Asparagus officinalis), purslane (Portulaca oleracea), wild fennel (Foeniculum sylvestre), chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla)...
Behind the scenes MAMMAMIA is a way of being, a way of doing things. Our extra virgin olive oil is like a vegetable garden.Planning a green space means dealing with that which is natural. This implies a vision which dilates the day: because it comes from knowledge and experience which is strongly linked to our feelings and to our pleasure, also waiting for someone who can see the colours and forms that will come in all their nuances.
